Die Leute lieben PosterMyWall
Jemal Mosley describes himself as a social media marketer, but to Bethel Baptist Church, Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, and the many others he has helped, he is the person who sorts out how a congregation communicates: web pages, social media, email, and live streaming. A musician and audio visual professional by background, he has been building church websites and communications for years, because it lets a church stay connected to people who cannot make it to services regularly but do not want to lose touch.
He found PosterMyWall through a Google search for making flyers, and the thing that struck him was range. What used to take him up to 24 hours in Photoshop now takes 20 minutes. His most useful habit for anyone handling official church communications is the one he offers as advice at the end: use an existing template to get the layout right, then bring in your own graphics so it ends up being your own look rather than someone else's. He also does not restrict himself to the templates filed under churches, finding ideas across every category of event. On the email side, he keeps separate lists per ministry, men's ministries, choirs and the rest, with group leaders managing their own addresses rather than sending one large blast.
You can set your church's correspondence up the same way. Build the letterhead from letterhead templates, using the layout as the starting point and your own logo and artwork for the identity. Save that logo, those colours, and the fonts into Brand Kits so every bulletin, notice, and church flyer matches, then send the same branding out through an email campaign per ministry list.
